Certificate

Course requirements: You must complete a minimum of 24 hours from at least three departments, including:

6 credit hours of language above the 100 level in Latin, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, or Persian
A historical survey
15 credit hours of electives, chosen either from the Institute offerings or medieval courses in other departments
No more than one course can be at the 100 level. For students who matriculated before Fall 2013, at least two courses must be at the 300 level or above. For students matriculating Fall 2013 or later, at least three courses must be at the 300 level or above.

Students pursuing a certificate in Medieval Studies should use the Academic Bulletin year appropriate for your year of matriculation.
